Family Self Sufficiency (FSS)
The Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) program for Ingham, Eaton and Clinton Counties is administered for the Michigan State Housing Development Authority(MSHDA) by FSCHC by exculsive contract. Clients are provided the knowlege and resources needed to attain greater financial independence. For clients in this program, this means working to repair credit, attaining financial literacy and obtaining information that leads to better education and employment allowing clients to move themselves forward and off the public assistance rolls.
